Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is well-known for her the roles she played in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the only daughter to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into the world of show business early, and ended up acting in lead roles on various shows on television by the time she reached the age of 16. Her critically acclaimed role in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like the role of the secretary of Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the critically and commercially popular Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominated films that feature the divas. Alexandra's career has seen her be involved in a variety of significant national and international productions.
